NSW Drone Search privately undertakes drone thermal imaging searches across New South Wales and, when required, throughout Australia. Our focus is on helping locate missing people in challenging environments such as Australian bushland, scrub, farmland and remote desert regions, where ground searches alone can be slow, dangerous or limited by visibility.

We are not a government organisation or emergency service. Instead, we operate as an independent specialist team that can be engaged privately to support existing search efforts. By using high‑resolution thermal imaging cameras mounted on advanced drones, we can quickly scan large areas, detect heat signatures and highlight locations that may require closer investigation by ground crews.

We operate advanced off-road equipment, including an 8x8 amphibious all-terrain vehicle, to access very difficult terrain that would otherwise be unreachable.

Our role is to add an extra layer of capability to missing person searches by bringing proven thermal drone expertise, careful planning and a strong focus on safety and airspace rules.
